Facebook as a Platform for Integrating an Online Learning Task for English as a Second Language Students

Social media is now widely used, particularly for Thai students and it could be a useful tool learning English language. The purpose of this research was to: 1) examine how effective, to use Facebook-based livestream presentation (FB-LP) as platform assessing an online language task in enhancing listening comprehension. 2) evaluate the factors that effect influence distance through presentation, 3) comprehend application used assist teaching process. study uses quasi-pre-test, post-test-experimental design on Thais second year were participated study. pre- post-test helps determine whether utilization effective improving skills all proficiency levels. In addition, paired sample t-tests, utilized identify significant differences between relationships respondents' attitudes toward comprehension their tests. findings revealed majority respondents have levels elementary, intermediate higher. Furthermore, students' performance using Facebook improve positive. p-value 0.284 pre-test performances before after FB-LP score above 0.05 significance level, there no difference evaluation testing. attitude value has (<0.001) below level 0.05, assessment responders who showed changes implementation mode. A relationship students’ achievement scores 0.267 indicates connection. Therefore, connection cannot established utilizing FB-LP. proposes effectiveness result, excellent potential one tools serve lifelong e-learning process learning. are recommended more active studying expertise enhance grammar, vocabulary, discussion get good performance.
